Better outcomes
for children & young people

What do we do?

The role of the Agency is to safeguard the interests of children and young people, to ensure their wishes and feelings are heard, and to promote their best interests in Family court cases.

Children & young people

We work with children and young people in family court cases. We make sure that your voices are heard and decisions are taken in your best interests.

My experience
From the very beginning, their team made me feel heard, understood, and valued. They didn't treat me like just another case; instead, they genuinely cared about my well-being and my wishes for the future. Their empathy and compassion created a safe space for me.
What was most helpful [about having a Guardian] was having someone to tell about my worries and things I wanted the judge to know. So she listened to me, and reported it all to the judge.
I felt the guardian got to know my past and why I had to come here to be safe. She listened to what happened to me and my family. She heard from my mum with the help of an interpreter. She was thoughtful.
[The Guardian] clearly represented my views on the situation to the court, which they did well as seen from both my time speaking with and for them, helping achieve the desired result.
